Year of Creative Habits 2017 – 6/365

Day 6

Happy Friday!

It’s something like -24C with wind chill (-11F) outside right now. It was brutal being out there, and I couldn’t  take this photo fast enough! My fingers were hurting just taking three pictures in this spot. Afterwards, I rushed right back inside.

Who’s idea was it to start this project in the winter time!? I should of just started it in April or May and did like a 200 day challenge or something instead! Too late now! Maybe for this weekend I’ll draw some stuff on paper and take some pictures of those. I also just now realized that I’ll have two winters to deal with…

There’s something I noticed the other day; I take time to think about what I’m going to photograph for the next day while I’m at home. I try to figure out where I’m going to walk to, and what areas I think could possibly be interesting to photograph. So far, I don’t feel like I’ve really nailed anything all that interesting though!

I have to remind myself that I’m only 6 measly days into this project. Seasons will change, weather will get warmer, and I’ll be travelling out further and further to find new things to take pictures of. Not to mention that there’s still a new fancy camera coming at some point in the near future.
