Not Quite Fully Operational: Day 345

Sorta Death Star by Robert Chapman

I’m not sure which I prefer, the red crystal thing, or the green curly things. Maybe neither, actually. I could just go with the big satellite dish-esque cannon by itself. What do you think? I’m really not sure how I feel about either of those at the moment.

See, this is what happens when you just start throwing paint around and don’t plan anything beforehand. You end up with a whole bunch of features that alone look interesting, but don’t mesh well together. There are large window-like objects in the bottom right, but this is a Death Star, so the tiny black rectangles on the left look much more fitting as windows. I may have to get rid of the large ones.

Despite the issues I’m having with this painting, I’m having a lot of fun just messing about and trying to figure out what exactly this is on the fly! So, what do you think? I don’t know if I’ll get any responses, but I’m interesting in what anyone thinks

Thanks!

I think every bit of this looks great but only you know what should fit and what doesn’t so just follow your logic 🙂

    • Perhaps you’re right. Hmm. I guess I’ll just figure it out tomorrow. I wonder how it will turn out in the future 🙂
