Even though the quality of my camera isn’t all that great, I can recognize that once in awhile I still end up with a decent picture! A little editing can go a long ways to making a murky lifeless picture gain a little vibrancy. You can’t even tell that I was soaked from the rain and couldn’t see clearly since my glasses were in my pocket.

My goal for today was to take a picture with something in the shot that stands out with some color. This time it was the street signs there, even though they ended up a bit dark. I was also able to brighten up the sky a little bit, while making the tree up top a bit darker. Here’s an image I put together to show both versions.

I think I’ll continue to use this method while we have this whole wintertime thing going on!
