Webcomic Progress: Day 233

First page of a web comic by Robert Chapman

It’s funny, after about an hour of working on this webcomic I started to feel that this was going to be one of those projects I get discouraged with and possibly scrap, but an hour after that I fell in love with it. I look at it now and I’m amazed that I thought this wasn’t going to turn out very well. I mean, there’s still more work to do, and a few things I would like to edit, but I’m super satisfied with my progress on this.

I’m probably going to redo those bushes, the colors at least, and likely limit them to just two shades of brown. To be honest, I couldn’t tell you why I think that might look better, but I’m going with my instinct on this.

Seeing as it’s Sunday, and already almost 8pm, I’m going to keep this short. I usually try to keep my weekend posts pretty brief, actually. So today will be no exception. I’ll finish this off by mentioning that it feels pretty good to have two projects going on at the same time; The “Colorful Chameleon” and this webcomic one. Both of which I’m really happy with, and will continue to work on throughout the coming week.

    • Thanks, Brad. Yeah I’m keeping busy. I think it would be a good idea to keep up with this comic idea. At least for a test run, eh?
