Quick! Click the Publish Button! Day 293

My Spaceship by Robert Chapman

That is the opposite of what an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) title should look like! Okay, so my Internet has been down almost the entire day today, and for those who are reading my posts, you know this isn’t news. However, I came to the realization today that even if I can’t get my posts… well… posted, in a timely fashion, I’m still putting the work in. A friend reinforced this in a nice comment today as well 😀

So, I’m going to have to learn to deal with the issues I’m having, and maybe start posting my “daily” blog posts all in bunches whenever I’m able. I’ll just have to keep writing them, and doing my drawing, no matter what my situation is. Maybe that sounds kind of obvious, but I was so frustrated with everything today that I didn’t even think about what I was going to talk about today. I spent more time than I usually do with my drawing, however. So that’s a nice bonus!

I’m also trying to figure out whether my reliance on technology (specifically the Internets) is a good or bad thing. Or is it even a thing at all? Aren’t we all heavily reliant on connectivity? When my Internet goes down, I have zero connection to anyone. All the gadgets I own use my household wifi. I feel a bit lost when I can’t immediately send a message, Google the answer to a question, read my daily news stories, or watch Photoshop video tutorials.

I do, however, take time almost every single day to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. This is something I’ve been doing for something like 5 or 6 years now. I grew up playing video games, and spending all my late teen years browsing the Internet and hanging out in chat rooms. So some years ago I decided I would get more exercise and make sure I spend time every day away from my technology. Even if it’s just a simple walk to the grocery store. I guess it’s another habit I’ve built for myself.

So, before my net shuts down again. I’m going to take my title’s advice and get this posted and shared! Thanks for checking it out. My sci-fi space scene is looking pretty epic. Still lots to do. What do you think?
