I decided to spend a couple hours on my colorful Chameleon today. I think he just keeps getting better and better as I go along, and I’m excited to see how he looks when he’s all finished. It certainly pays to take your time and flesh out all the smallest details. Quality and quantity!

Colorful Chameleon Update: Day 231
Seeing as it’s a Friday, which means that it’s a day where I can work on any in-progress art project, I was originally going to work on that web comic picture I had started a few days or so ago, the one with the sky view of the house. Instead of working on that project, I decided to continue with the colorful Chameleon. I’m really in love with this project because it’s just so damn colorful.
Professional Wrestling RPG: Day 230
Alright, welcome to another #ThrowbackThursday. Today I’m not necessarily looking back at a classic game per se (though this image was greatly influenced by Tecmo World Wrestling on the NES), but rather I’m creating my own idea for an 8-bit professional wrestling role playing game. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this in a post on this website previously, but I definitely have shared my idea with my Patreon supporters.
Colorful Chameleon: Day 229
Alright, so today is Wednesday. Which means from here on out, according to the schedule I created a few days ago, Wednesday’s are to be known as “Nature Wednesday’s”. I’ve had this picture of a bright and colorful Chameleon for a little while now (It’s up on my Pinterest, if you’d like to see it) and today I finally got around to painting it.
Webcomic – My Life is Weird: Day 224
Alright, so I’m not finished with the Blaster Master digital painting that I’ve been working on lately, but I’m going to try my best to stick to a new type of schedule. A schedule that I’m not quite prepared to share in full, as there isn’t anything concrete that’s worth sharing yet. I’m going to try following what I have written down so far for awhile and see how it goes.
So then, with today being Friday, I have in my notes that I should try starting (or working on) a long term project. Yes, I could of just continued working on the Blaster Master picture, but I’ll save that for another day. I think it’s time for a nice change of pace.
Giant Blue Mint Cookie: Day 223
I was hoping to get a lot more done today, but this will have to suffice. I painted with my niece for an hour earlier today and got a line of the yellow-ish grass completed in my Blaster Master picture. That was pretty much it for today. She drew a giant blue mint cookie! She’s a fantastic artist and I love hanging out with her.
That’s about all I’m going to get done for creating artwork today. It is my birthday after all, so I’m pretty busy today. Tomorrow seems like it’ll be more of the same but I’ll try to squeeze in some drawing time in the AM.
Dreaming of a Webcomic: Day 222
Welcome to the first ever 222nd post for my first Year of Creative Habits. I wonder if I’ll ever reach 222nd days on my second year, or even the year after that. I certainly plan on continuing this for as long as I can, and I have no reason to think I would ever quit, but we all know that things change eventually. I would love to have a list of years on the top of my website; year 1, year 2, year 3, etc. Each with 365 posts with artwork attached for each of those days.
