Today’s picture was already dark and miserably grey before I purposefully removed the color, so after I made my little cartoon character in the corner, I just kept on drawing. I might make this an ongoing thing for when I take pictures that I don’t feel are all that special. Just maybe draw little pictures on them.

Today’s walk was pretty boring, everything was bleak and dreary, so I had to do something to spruce it up a little bit. I thought about using a photo from a previous day, but that’s no fun and it feels like cheating. There will definitely be days this year that I go back and use photographs from previous days because I expect there will be days where I take a whole lot of pictures and I need to share them all. So I’ll spread them out over a week or whatever. We’ll see…

I have around 9 days left until my new camera arrives, and there’s a good chance I’ll be doing things like this drawing more often in the mean time. Maybe even afterwards. It never hurts to add a little color and silliness!
