Year of Creative Habits 2017 – 47/365

Day 47

I ran into a few minor issues today. This picture’s kinda cool and all, but I had a heck of a time transferring it from my camera onto my tablet. I normally just transfer it via some Canon app from the camera to my laptop, and I now have that all figured out, but I wasn’t at home. I only had my tablet with me, and so I wanted to transfer the photos from my camera to my tablet. I knew it was possible, but it took some work to figure out.

Then, when I eventually arrived home and wanted to prepare to write this blog post, I noticed that the photos were all at a much lower resolution than what they were to begin with. Apparently transferring them from my camera to my tablet lowers the overall quality. So, that’s what we end up with today’s photo. A lower quality version of what it should be!

Today’s photograph is alright, but nothing too special. However, I’ve learned my lesson and unless I want to quickly and efficiently share a photo while I’m away from home, then I’ll have to do what I did to move it from my camera to my tablet, and then share it. I don’t really know how often I’ll really do that though. I like having super high quality (high resolution) photographs, and that’s what I want to share.

I learned some new stuff today, and I took a bunch of other photos as well; SQUIRREL!

It’s a learning process. I am sure there will be a few more learning curves for ya along the way🙂 Nice photo though, really loved the squirrel I got to see on twitter!! We will have to venture to germain soon with Emmi and bring your camera. I know you’ve visited there once with your tablet but know there’s sooo much beauty to capture in that place ❤️ Good work bob, glad you at least figured things out even if it was lower resolution 🙂

    • Wonder comment, Robin! Thank you. Yeah, I’m being really patient as I know I have hundreds of days left (Almost at 50 though!) and I’m not pressuring myself to do EPIC photos the second I got a new camera. Even today’s is a lot better than what my tablet could do, I feel. But it’s not nearly as good as what is possible with this new camera 🙂

I would love to go for a walk down there!

Maybe we can go this weekend, suppose to be 9 degrees out 🙂 I’m pretty excited to see what you capture in warmer weather when being outside is more comfortable. Wow, 50 days already, so glad you got the new camera so quickly into your year!!

        • Despite all the shenanigans going on financially, I’m also very happy I got this camera. I helps a lot as I feel like I have some decent technology to do some cool things this year that could really help me in the long run.

I hope we can go this weekend! I would get up early for that 🙂
