I didn’t get as much done today as I would have liked as I’ve been in full on stressed out mode for most of the day. And what do you know, there it goes again! My Internet hasn’t been working hardly at all the last few days. Off and on, off and on. I’ve written about it on here before. It just went off again, and I’m hoping I can save this post and get it done whenever it decides to come back on.

Books Books Books: Day 281
That was a whole lot of books I just did there, and I still have so many more to go! However, I have very high hopes that all those hours making books will pay off in the end. I mean, just look at the back shelf there, I think it’s shaping up really nicely. The books have zero detail on them right now though, but I hope to add symbols, numbers, and letters to each of them. Or maybe just a bunch of tiny squiggles.
The Library: Day 280
Hello! Today I got started (and made some decent progress) on a library for my wizard to hang around. At first, I was going to try to make all my lines super straight, but I ultimately decided to have fun with it and just do everything free hand! Even though everything ends up a bit squiggly in the end, it’s good practice for keeping your hand steady.
Black Wizard: Day 279
I actually have a few different things to share today. I was messing around with some gradients in Photoshop and fairly quickly threw together this Final Fantasy style wizard. To start off though, I also wanted to try some interesting text techniques with a couple of my previous space drawings. I’ve honestly never really used the “masking” option in Photoshop before, but now I think I’ll try to use it more often.
Blood Weed Revisited: Day 278
I’ve been wanting to go back and revisit some of the drawings I made at the beginning of my Year of Creative Habits project. This “Blood Weed” picture seemed to be liked by a lot of people, so I thought I would create a digital version and mess around with it as much as I could. I really like how it turned out. Though I’m a little worried it looks a little bit too Photoshopped.
Ukulele Mario T-Shirts: Day 277
Alright, Ukulele Mario is finished. I was going to draw that background that I started yesterday, but it wasn’t really turning out and so I added more detail to Mario himself today. I think he looks pretty fantastic, and a vast improvement over the original version. It was suggested to me the other day to try a maroon colored ukulele, mellow out the yellow on the frets, and add a fourth one.
Title-less: Day 276
I only had maybe 20 minutes to do my drawing today, so I decided to get started on some Ukulele Mario edits. Some were suggested by my cousin, Eric. The guy that originally asked for the design. I really just wanted to create a scene for Mario to be in. As I mentioned yesterday, I like the idea of Mario being on stage moments away from playing a tune.
Okay, that’s it for me today! This is two days of slacking in a row. I’ll have to make sure I set aside a few hours to work on this tomorrow.
